Design itself becomes worth something only when the client likes it, despite the designers huge desire to sell the idea at as expensive price as possible. When it comes to design, we follow the idea of soundness, high quality, utilization of expensive materials and furniture. This all is based on implementation of design, on bringing the idea into reality.
Many things seem interesting and beautiful being an idea, but in real life they can be inconvenient or nondurable. We execute all stages of property repairs, starting from concrete floor and brick wall and ending with placing the client in front of TV-set. Sometimes builders offer standard repairs in pseudo-Japanese or pseudo-techno style. Such design is cheap and fresh, but all the buyer can do is getting some tools and dark glasses so that he could not see as his rather fresh and newly-repaired apartment is turning into the way it was before the repairs over some 2 to 3 years. Basically, what the builders are offering as repairs (Heaven forbid designer repairs) is represented by reprocessed materials and glass. And we mercilessly throw it away. For many times we saw apartments being commissioned with ceramic tile covering everything; well, this covering is not esthetic, it provides no thermo isolation or sound proofing, it can only be resistant to abrasion, but not in all cases. Sometimes the tile at the building entrance is the same as that in the apartment - it is probably done so that the owner could make himself at home even at the building entrance. Sometimes we can see simple paper wall covering in damp rooms. Until recently they did not at all install the windowsills. They do now, not in every apartment and not always from both the inner and outer sides.
